The end, the return and the future in sports this week

Paul Pogba's FIFA World Cup journey might have come to an end after he was handed a four-year ban from football by Italy's anti-doping court on Thursday. Barring a successful appeal at the Court of Arbitration for Sport, Pogba will next be able to play when he is 34, but France may want to move on then. The World Athletics Championships will return to Beijing in 2027, 12 years after it happened there the last time.
