China launches first batch of satellites in mega constellation project

China launched a Long March-6A carrier rocket from Taiyuan Satellite Launch Center in the northern province of Shanxi, deploying 18 satellites of "Thousand Sails Constellation" into their preset orbit. The launch marks a significant step for China in the global satellite internet field.
