Triple planetary crisis being addressed at the UN Environment Assembly

The sixth session of the United Nations Environment Assembly (UNEA-6) was held in Nairobi, Kenya from February 26 to March 1. Delegates from member states gathered to address the triple planetary crisis of climate change, nature and biodiversity loss, and pollution and waste. The assembly concluded with fruitful outcomes of 15 resolutions adopted, two decisions and a Ministerial Declaration at the closing plenary.
